The readme has the following example:Ĭonverting a Dolby-Digital-WAV into standard AC3 file this will create the file track01.ac3 on e:\\īeSplit -core( -input live.wav -prefix e:\ rack -type ddwav -fix ) Now, there's a tool called besplit, available at doom9. Without ASIO though, only static comes out. With Media Center 9's ASIO driver I can play the WAV file and the processor will lock onto the Dolby Digital 5.1 signal and decode it. With Media Center 9 beta, I've successfully "captured" AC3 through the recorder function, after I selected SPDIF as the recording device. By doing that I can both capture and watch/listen at the same time. I connect it to the SPDIF IN on the 410 card and then the SPDIF OUT on the 410 to my pre-amp processor. I have an M-Audio Delta 410 sound card, but I think it's possible with most sound cards with SPDIF IN.
